On June 29, 2024, wine enthusiasts and fitness aficionados alike gathered at Kings River Winery in Fresno for an unforgettable afternoon. With a backdrop of lush vineyards and a festive atmosphere, the grounds of Kings River Winery came alive with energy. Participants arrived, each ready to embark on either the 5K wine run or the 1K Tasting Walk, both offering a blend of exercise and enjoyment. From seasoned runners to casual walkers, everyone found their stride amidst the rows of grapevines.
The WineRun 5k
The main event, the 5K wine run, kicked off with enthusiasm. Runners weaved through the vineyard paths with the promise of wine stations along the route. Each kilometer brought a new tasting experience, featuring selections from Kings River Winery’s own collection. Participants savored the opportunity to sample various wines as they made their way to the finish line.

For those preferring a leisurely pace, the 1K Tasting Walk offered a relaxed alternative.
Finish Line Festivities
After crossing the finish line, the festivities continued with a lively after-party inclusive of music and great vibes. Participants and spectators mingled amongst local small business vendors and food trucks including Rose Marie Boutique, Brown’s Creations, Scents for Every Season, Custom Collegiate, Stetson Style, The Wicked Waffle, Vega Bros Street Eats and Rollin Flame BBQ.
