Race through the trails of the beautiful Silverwood Country Retreat in Waller, TX. The designed trials are through fields and woodland trails. The start time for the 5K Wicked Run begins at 5:00 pm and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk begins at 6:30pm. 5K runners must complete the course in 1 hour. Runners who participate in BOTH the 5K Fun Run and the 1K Walk must make the start time of the 1K. Waves of runners will be released on the course with 5 minute intervals in between waves. Runners and ALL attendees must be 21 or older to participate.

What to Wear
Raid Grandma’s closet and your nearest party store because we want you to create the most insane costumes. We’ve got some great prizes if your get up bests them all!
The Houston course is a non-certified, 5K TRAIL RUN so their is no official timing or age group awards. There is an official race clock so you can know your personal time and there are awards for best costume!
After your race enjoy our Wicked Post Race Party a Live Band, and… make sure you bring some cash for some great local cuisine and to purchase more wine! Spectators are welcome! Course is NOT stroller friendly.

Q: Can I run the 5K and jog or walk on the 1K afterwards?
A: Um…of course! In fact, we know this is such a popular option just choose the “BOTH” option when you register…we’ve even applied an automatic discount when you choose both!
Q: Do you need volunteers?
A: Yes, lots. Volunteers can help keep our runners happy by helping with registration, water stops, set up and tear down. For their selfless service, volunteers get Wicked Wine Run swag, complimentary wine after the event, and a thousand “thank you’s” by the world’s happiest runners. Q: What are the minimum and maximum ages?
A: 21 is the minimum age to attend the event either as a participant or spectator. There’s no maximum age.
Q: What should I bring?
A: This is a trail run. So, wear you running gear suitable for trail running or running costume. Bring your I.D., your favorite designated driver, cash for parking ($10), food trucks and more wine. Bring sunblock and water to keep you safe and healthy. We invite you to bring your picnic blanket or pop up chairs to relax after the race while you rock out to the live band.
Q: What do I get with my registration?
A: You get a premiun Wicked race shirt and access to our Wicked post-race party with great live music and the best area food trucks. In addition, 5K runners get finish line wine and 1K participants will enjoy 4 wine tastings on their course.
Q: Is the race stroller friendly?
A: Nope, sorry. Children, infants and pets are not permitted.
Q: Do designated driver-runners get a non-alcoholic drink?
A: We love DD’s and we are supplying you free soda or water with your DD wristband.
Q: Do you provide refunds or credits?
A: No, not any. We would be happy to transfer your registration to a family member or friend. The transfer of your registration to a different location is not permitted. You may transfer your registration to another individual up to 21 days before the event by emailing us your request.
Q: Is this race timed and are their awards?
A: Although this wine fueled fun run is untimed, the top 3 males and top 3 females to cross the finish line win awards! There are also awards for the best costumes and fun contests through out the night.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We still run….generally. In the case of heavy rain or thunderstorms we will post all relevant weather info on www.wickedwinerun.com, contact you via the e-mail address you provided and publish information via Facebook and Twitter. To read more about our weather policy click here.

A: Spectators are welcome to attend the event to cheer you on and enjoy the party. Spectators must be 21 or older.
